    Details Of TheTour:

At your pick up time, you'll be met by your guide and drive to Priene. Sitting at the foot of a magnificent cliff (MycletMountain), the city contains some excellent examples of Hellenistic art and architecture. You'll be amazed when you see how perfectly the city was planned thanks to its main streets crossing at right angles with the Hippodamian plan. The next stop Miletus, which is an ancient city near Akköy at the mouth of the Meander River, was once one of the largest cities in Anatolia and was highly prosperous due to its prominent place on trade routes. It was the home of some renowned philosophers such as Anaximander, Anaximenes, and Thales. You'll get amazed by this megapolis whose ruins are still standing. After Miletus, you'll arrive in the world-famous Didyma. Translating to "twins," Didyma was thought to be the place where the Apollo, the twin of Artemis, dwelled. Therefore, in the ancient world, the site was considered as a major prophecy center dedicated to Apollo, similar to the one in Delphi, Greece. After the tour, you will be transported back to your departure point.
