Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami

Starting at: $53

  • Experience the sights and sounds of Miami’s vibrant Little Havana neighborhood on this guided walking food tour. Explore this lively Cuban district and learn about its fascinating history and culture, with stops at some of the best family owned and operated Cuban restaurants in the area. Sample the local cuisine, like guava pastries, chicken plantain cups and flan ice cream, to name just a few of the delicacies. Also, meet some of the local artists, watch skilled Cuban cigar rollers and listen to traditional Cuban music. This walking food tour begins at the Agustin Gainza Arts and Studio in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. After a meet and greet with the guide, it’s time for a flavorful and fun adventure. Visit six family owned and operated Cuban restaurants to sample the fresh flavors of the local cuisine. The Calle Ocho area of Little Havana provides an overview of the neighborhood’s traditional flavors — favorites like homemade mamey and flan ice cream, chicken- and picadillo-stuffed plantain cups, guava pastelito, plus coffee, guarapo juice and much more. Many of the Cuban dishes are prepared from family recipes that have been handed down from one generation to another. All tastings are included and sum up to a large, full lunch. This tour includes more than just food, however. Meet some of the Cuban artists in their studios, listen to some traditional Cuban music and watch skilled Cuban cigar rollers at the El Credito Cigar Factory. Also, visit Maximo Gomez Domino Park, a landmark on Calle Ocho. The tour concludes back at the Agustin Gainza Arts and Studio.
