We also experience Nepal’s vibrant cities such as Kathmandu and Pokhara, a dramatic counterpoint to our time in the wilds.The tour takes you to Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s most popular National Park offering excellent opportunity to see Royal Bengal Tigers, one horned Rhino, crocodile and thrilling wilderness experience into its deep and thick jungle either through a ride in an elephant’s back or on four wheelers. Besides, this tour takes you to Palpa where you can explore the historic palace called Rani Mahal, Srinagardada View Point, the medieval town of Tansen and the local market. Moreover, you will visit Lumbini- the birthplace of Gautam Buddha and one of the most important religious sites in the world.

ITINERARY:

DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our representative and driver will meet you and escort you to your designated hotel. In the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities during the tour.

DAY 02: SIGHTSEEING IN KATHMANDU

After breakfast sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambhunath Stupa and Bouddhnath Stupa (all of these are protected by UNESCO as world heritage sites). Pashupatinath temple is the oldest and most sacred Hindu temple of the world situated in the bank of Holy Bagmati River. Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the biggest and oldest stupa of the world and the area surrounding is also known as little Tibet as the area is highly inhabited by Tibetan refugees and also houses one of the biggest Tibetan refugee camps of the valley. Rest of the day is free to explore on your own. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 03: DRIVE KATHMANDU-POKHARA

After Breakfast, you will be driven to Pokhara (200 KM /6 hours). you will be driven to Pokhara- the beautiful city and tourism hub. After some hours of drive you reach Pokhara, taken t your designated hotel for check in. You will be taken to lakeside for refreshment where you can do boating on Few lake . Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 04: SIGHTSEEING IN POKHARA

Today, before having breakfast, you will be taken to Sarangkot to take stunning sunrise and mountain views. Return to hotel to take breakfast and rest. In the afternoon you can visit, devis fall, guptesor cave, International mountain museum, Seti George etc.

DAY 05: DRIVE TO POKHARA – PALPA

In the early morning, you will proceed to Palpa. After reaching there you can go nearby Srinagar hill from where you can enjoy magnificent view of sunrise over western Himalayas. You will be taken to Tansen – the local market, you can see Rani mahal (durbar). Overnight in hotel

DAY 06: DRIVE PALPA TO LIMBINI

Today you will be driven to Lumbini observing the scenic views on the national highway. Upon arrival at Lumbini and after checking into the hotel, you will have lunch and then you will proceed for sightseeing around the  Lumbini which is very famous site and the birth place of Gautam Buddha – the light of Asia.

DAY 07: LUMBINI SIGHTSEEING

As the historical birthplace of Gautama Siddhartha Buddha, Lumbini is one of the most important religious sites in the world. Buddha who later achieved enlightenment under a Bodhi tree, inspiring a global philosophy of peace and reflection, was born under a sal tree in Lumbini in the month of May in 563 BC. After breakfast you will proceed for sightseeing tour at Lumbini that includes several monasteries, eternal lamp, historical sites of Asoka Pillar, Maya Devi temple etc. Overnight in hotel

DAY 07: DRIVE TO CHITWAN

After having breakfast ,drive to .On arrival you will check into the resort / jungle camp followed by welcome drink and briefing about the jungle activities. After lunch you can proceed for exploring nearby local villages. Dinner and overnight will be at jungle camp /resort.

DAY 08: JUNGLE AND WILDLIFE SAFARI AT CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will proceed for jungle safari on Elephant back to see different species of deer, Royal Bengal Tiger, rare one horned rhinoceros, wild boar, leopard, monkeys, birds and many other small animals. After elephant back safari tour you will proceed for Dugout Canoe Ride in Dungre / Rapti River to see 2 types of rare species of crocodile -  the marsh mugger and the fish eating Gharial. You will then visit elephant breeding farm & drive back to the lodge. Late afternoon village walk will be organized in the nearby Tharu village. In the evening you will observe “Tharu Tribal Dance” presented by the local Tharu people. Dinner and overnight in the jungle camp / lodge.

DAY 10: DRIVE TO KATHMANDU

After having breakfast, you will be driven to Kathmandu city. Once you get Kathmandu, you will have free time for shopping, relaxation etc.

DAY 11: DEPART FROM KATHMANDU

After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take you to the international airport for your flight towards onward destination.
