Trinity College

An abandoned monastery located on the outskirts of Dublin was used as a college building. After a while, the city expanded in this direction, and the university became part of it. Trinity College was the first of the oldest universities in Europe, which opened in 1904 the possibility of obtaining higher education for women.

Modern Trinity College is the main research university in Ireland and one of the most advanced universities in the world. In its three faculties enrolled over 16,000 students.

The key research areas of the university are European and international integration, culture and creative arts, materials and smart systems, bioscience and translational research, transport, energy and the environment.

According to international rankings, Trinity College ranks first in Ireland and is one of the top 100 universities in the world.

CAMPUS DESCRIPTION
Despite its location in the heart of the capital, and the fact that it is one of the most important tourist attractions in Dublin, Trinity College maintains a strong collegiate and campus atmosphere. This is possible largely due to the compact construction of the campus, the main buildings of which look inwards, and only a few public entrances. The campus housed various buildings, ranging from old works of architecture to modern ones. Forbes Edition ranked Trinity College as one of the most beautiful campuses in the world. Trinity College contains many buildings of the 18th and 19th centuries of architectural significance.

For students, the college has about 700 rooms in its dormitories. Of these, the largest, located 4 km from the campus, is Trinity Hall. Foreign students have priority when providing places in dormitories.
